George is an architect who has worked with Will Alsop for 15
years, graduating from the Royal College of Art under his
professorship. They have worked together on a wide variety of
project types and scales, most notably the Stirling Prize
short-listed Fawood Children's Centre, the master plan for
Riverside One in Middlesbrough and Heron Quays Station in London.
Recently George has led the design of the bus station at Steeles
West, Toronto and is currently working on a large mixed use scheme
in Brentford's emerging Kew Gate as well as proposals for the
regeneration of Purfleet in the Thames Estuary.
George became a Director with aLL Design in 2015,
working in all scales, from domestic products to Street
Creatures (unique kiosks), to renovation projects such as
'Testbed1', a Victorian warehouse containing the Doodle Bar and
Street Kitchen. George enjoys working with Will in the painting
studio at the heart of aLL's offices, creating artworks that have
recently been exhibited at the Royal Academy as well as other
galleries worldwide. He also teaches at the London School of
Architecture and sits on both the Wandsworth Design Review Panel
and Croydon Place Review Panel.
