Sara Sampieri

Architect

Sara studied at the University of Architecture in Florence, where she came first in the entrance exam and finished her masters with honours in 2013. Her graduate project, a modern re-use of an abandoned factory, was published in an Italian journal. During her studies, Sara specialised in architectural renovation and urban regeneration, through practical experience and workshops, Sara gained a solid understanding of design innovation for pre-existing buildings.

One of Sara's core interests is the social role of architecture and she received an award from the city of Florence for her installation depicting the issue of drunk driving.

Sara has worked in Italy and Germany, gathering knowledge in broad areas of architecture - from the study of graphics and 3D modelling to urban and landscape design. A highly motivated and hard worker, she faces every task with enthusiasm and curiosity. She joined aLL Design in 2014 and has been working on residential schemes in London and Cambridge. Her experience with aLL Design has bolstered her creativity andshe has discovered the cheerful and joyful aspects of architecture.
