Architectural Designer

Australian born and of indigenous descent, Sarah has been living in the UK since 2013. She studied her Part 2 at the University of Cambridge as a Charlie Perkins Scholar; earning a distinction for her research into indigenous housing in remote Australian Aboriginal Communities.

Sarah's Part 1 was undertaken at the University of Melbourne, where she was awarded the 'Dean's Honour' every year for her work across all disciplines. During her undergraduate years Sarah was also on the board of executive for the national student body of architecture, SONA and sat on the Victorian Chapter Council of the Australian Institute of Architects.   

Prior to commencing her studies in the UK, Sarah worked at an award-winning Australian practice, on a range of projects from residential and multi-res to commercial and educational. Since commencing with aLL Design in 2015, Sarah has been working on a large scale mixed-use project in London. Outside University Sarah has been published in the Architectural Review and invited as guest speaker and panelist at several conferences including a national architecture congress in Australia in 2015. Her core interests are in making architecture fun, and challenging convention. She has a passion for pattern generation and the combination of creative and rational processes.
